AudiA3 3 Door 1.6 FSI 2004 Sport. I want to replace the climate control unit with a second hand one I have purchased. The units' parts numbers match and the replacement is fully functional. When I swap them the replacement doesn't work. I assuming there is a part/co0de registration step I need to go through, probably through the computer.

HiPeople, Sorry 1st post. Today I bought 2004 A3 1.6 FSI Sport but it needs an ECU. All works fine when running, but onced switched off you need to disconnect the battery, then switch key on, connect battery and then it starts and goes. Can I just buy another ECU from same year and model and its
